About These Videos: Entire public health careers may include few or no opportunities to lead and staff large-scale emergency response operations. Yet, the next natural or man made disaster may demand many to do just that. These videos show fellow public health workers quickly and successfully adapting to emergency leadership and staff roles… typically with only 2 hours to organize and set up. Video cameras at the ready and 1,000 clients at the door of a Rapid Screening Point exert great pressure on leaders and staff! Viewed alone, as part of a course, or part of just-in-time training for emergency operations, these short videos allow the viewer to live vicariously through colleagues just like them… and to become more confident that they will be successful during emergencies.

How to obtain DVDs: All videos posted on this sight in streaming web and bonus features of a Medical Field Station tour and a debrief of the Top Officials Exercise Medical Care Point exercise, are available on two high resolution DVDs. Since they were funded by the U. S. Centers for Disease Control, they are available for reasonable duplication, shipping, and handling costs from http://sightandsoundservices.com/agora/agora.cgi?product=ICS . The DVDs can be duplicated without permission.
