EMS System Multnomah County, OregonMultnomah County Emergency Medical Services Program (MCEMS) provides medical oversight and overall coordination of the Multnomah County EMS system. MCEMS, a program of the Multnomah County Health Department, is recognized by the Oregon Health Division as the EMS medical control authority for the County. Ambulance Rate Adjustment HearingOn May 20, 2010, a hearing was convened regarding American Medical Response's (AMR) request to increase the rates it charges ambulance patients. County code requires the County to conduct a contested case hearing process to determine if the increase in rates will be approved. Findings: Request denied.
