Community Immunizations ![]() ServicesChildhood ImmunizationsThe Community Immunization Clinic offers childhood vaccinations through the federal Vaccines for Children Program. An administration fee of $15 per dose is requested. However, no VFC eligible child will be refused service due to inability to pay. Lead screening is available for children ages six months through six years of age. See the lead testing events calendar for a list of other places in the community where you can have your child tested for free. H1N1 Flu (Swine Flu): Vaccine available for children. See H1N1 flu shots for more information or call 1-800-978-3040. Payments can be made by cash, check, or credit card. Families who have health insurance that covers immunizations are asked to receive their vaccinations from their private provider. Parents of children on Oregon Health Plan (OHP) must present their current medical coverage ID at the time of the visit. Adult ImmunizationsThe Community Immunization Clinic offers a variety of immunization services for adults including vaccines, blood draws for antibody testing (titers) and TB testing. Individuals who qualify for certain State provided vaccines are requested to pay an administration fee of $15 per dose. However, individuals who qualify for this vaccine will not be refused service due to inability to pay. For other vaccine and titer services, a $20 office visit fee applies, in addition to the cost of the vaccine or titer. Adult vaccination fees vary depending on the type of vaccine. Antibody tests available include hepatitis B, measles, mumps, rubella and varicella. Seasonal Flu: Adult flu shots unavailable at this time. Childhood seasonal flu shots and Flumist are still available ($15 per dose). H1N1 Flu (Swine Flu): Vaccine available for adults. See H1N1 flu shots for more information or call 1-800-978-3040. TB Testing: Due to the nature of the test, clients must plan for both the TB shot and the TB read. The TB read must happen 48 to 72 hours after the shot. The best option is to come for the TB shot on Tuesday and the TB read on Thursday. Payments can be made by cash, check or credit card. carry the HPV vaccine for women ages 9 to 26 years old. Rabies and Travel VaccinationsVaccinations for rabies or for travel are not done at the Community Immunization Clinic. Please contact the Communicable Disease office or Travelers' Clinic at 503-988-3406 to arrange an appointment for these vaccinations.
